The staff are so nice. The pizza is top notch. I would recommend this pizza place above all the rest of West Sac. I wish I could give them more stars. We really enjoy their pizza. Thanks guys.

I haven't been to many mom and pop pizza shops that do it for me, but Roman's exceeded my expectations. We've ordered from them a total of three times now and haven't wanted to try any other place because we're just so set with Roman's. The ingredients they use taste so good, don't know what it is about them. They're just quality ingredients and you can tell it's all fresh. There's no weird aftertaste or anything. Just some good pizza at an affordable price. Papa John's who?

AWARENESS: The wife and I stayed in West Sacto this past weekend (12/28/24) and I was craving pizza. I didn't want to drive too far so, with the help of my fellow Yelpers, we found Roman's Pizza. NARRATIVE: After calling in our order for an extra large, combination pizza, without bell peppers, we were given a 45 minute window for pick-up. When we arrived at Roman's, I mentioned to the wife the place reminded me of the corner pizza shops in New York. Walk in and take out only. No seating. No tables. No counters to lean on. After inspecting our pies smell and looks, we boogied back to our hotel for the taste test. The pizza comes with a foldable, thin crust. Lots of meats, green onions and cheese. And the sauce was good and tasty and not over-powering with flavors. A really decent pizza for the cost. SCENE: Roman's Pizza is located off W Capitol Avenue and Westacre Rd., behind the Capitol Gyros and across the street from the McDonalds. Roman's Pizza is a small place with no indoor or outdoor seating. It's a order, grab and go spot. RECOMMENDATION(S): Extra large combination pizza cost was; $25 dollars. You can't beat the price or the pizza if your in the West Sacto area and looking for a decent pie.

A West Sacramento institution! Best pizza in town. The service here is always on point. The pie here is always fresh and hot. My family and I love it and it's always the first place we think of when craving pizza. Now that they're on DoorDash it's even easier to order and have it brought to the doorstep. They no longer do dine in. But they do offer a free 2 liter when you pick up. Parking lot can be a bit sketchy but you can park at the door so you're safe. The wings here are really good too! Meaty and huge. Thanks for always being a good choice Roman's.

Great pizza, very fresh & good quality ingredients. Haven't visited in person, only used delivery, but it was great! Loved the Hawaiian Luau pizza & breadsticks. Made for great leftovers, too!

A local favorite spot and we can see why - a great value for great food! Pizza is amazing down to the crust. My kids even finish the crust. Fast and friendly service. Your pizza will be carefully and quickly put together, baked and given to you pipping hot!

Ordered the meat lovers large pizza from door dash. Very hot, fresh ingredients and crust was perfect. Door dash guy was prompt. Will order again when O am in Sac-town

I grew up eating this pizza and it's definitely a favorite! It's usually ready before the estimated time and the staff are friendly and efficient. The crust is just right and they are willing to make a lot of adjustments to your pizza to fit your needs. The only down side I would say is that it's pretty much take out only due to no seating inside.

Recently moving to W Sac had me scrambling to find my new "go to" pizza place to order when hosting a party. After crowd sourcing the neighbors and coming up empty, I decided to take a risk and order from Romans for a Halloween block party. First off, the girl I spoke with on the phone was very helpful so 1 star! Sadly, they don't deliver directly so minus 1 star. However, they do deliver through DoorDash which is a great alternative if you use the app. But the best part of my impromptu order is that the pizza at Romans is GREAT! I ordered 4 large pizzas-a couple of cheese and a couple of pepperoni. Now, you may think these are basic, but I tend to gauge how good a place is on how well they make the simple things. I'd be skeptical if a pizza place couldn't make a delicious cheese pizza! It highlights the sauce, the crust and if they do the cheese to sauce ratio right. I'm happy to report that Romans did both really well. No burnt crust or cheese on top (ugh the worst). Perfectly cooked pizza with crunch at the initial bite on the crust but a soft middle with perfect sauce to cheese and cheese/pepperoni ratio. Everyone who ate the pizza that night asked me where the pizza was from. Some were double fisting slices rather than the candy and wine so that tells you something hahaha! 5 stars all the way!

The host of our weeknight meetup picked up three pizzas to feed the crew of 7. Roman's Pizza West Sac was a great deal for the price -- each XLARGE-sized specialty pizza for only $17.99 plus tax! Easy to do a takeout order. COMBO PIZZA: Red Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Mushrooms, Yellow Onions, Bell Peppers, Black Olives GARLIC CHICKEN: White Garlic Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Marinated Chicken Breast, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Fresh Tomatoes, Green Onions, Cheddar Cheese HAWAIIAN LUAU: Red Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Canadian Bacon, Pineapple Chunks, Extra Mozzarella We almost finished it all off in one sitting, although not everyone was a fan of pineapple on pizza so that one was a little less popular through the evening. Paired well with beers and bubbly beverages, and still had room for dessert.
